Unfortunately, this is the first time this year I've managed to have enough time to write to you due to my full programme. I would like to start with some new ideas and one of them has the theme''The importance of drama''.People gain confidence by having at least a thing they like most. But besides school, they might have some other curriculum subjects that can widen their horizons.
Firstly, one of the most beautiful and also one of the most challenging subject, related to your way thinking and acting is drama. It is also important to relate theatre for children and young people to the context of drama as it developed in schools. Nowadays, people should be more interested in creative and imaginative subjects like drama either musicals or even theatre.
Secondly, drama in schools had not been considered an aim and it was rarely included in pupils' schedule. Perhaps surprisingly, parents did not know anything about drama, and they insisted on having as much Maths and Romanian as possible. But at the same time, I don't think this is their fault, because they weren't aware of the advantages and the gifts that a drama club gives you.
In my view, drama in schools should be recreated, but in an educational context. As teachers should be just like actors for children, as theatre make ordinary people escape from reality to fantasy.
